Company Profile & History
Action Ultralights Unlimited was established in 1998 by Gary O'Brien and Ross Abderhalden in Victoria, British Columbia. Both men brought extensive backgrounds in aviation and business management, regarding safety, thoroughness, and professionalism as the true keys to long-term success.
In 2000, the company relocated to its permanent flight training base at Duncan Airport (CAM3), where we proudly continue to operate today. Over the decades, we have introduced hundreds of aspiring aviators to the wonder of flight through Discovery Flights and comprehensive pilot permit instruction.

Our Transport Canada Certified Flight Instructors ensure the highest training standards across every phase of ground and inflight education.
Why Duncan Airport (CAM3)
Carefully selected to operate our flight school, Duncan Airport is situated midway between Victoria and Nanaimo (a 45-minute drive from either city). Restricted exclusively to light aircraft, it offers a relaxed, focused training atmosphere free of commercial traffic delays. Situated on the edge of the designated training area, travel time is minimized and student training costs stay low.
